Evangelist Diana Asamoah has advised Edward Akwasi Boakye, the veteran Gospel musician recently blessed with a new car, scholarships, and monthly stipends by Prophet Bernand El Bernard. She stressed the importance of using these gifts wisely, noting that this is the second time Boakye has sought public support. She made reference to Boakye’s past financial struggles, evident in a viral video where he was seen selling CDs and pen drives at a Kumasi bus stop.
Given her longstanding acquaintance with Boakye from before his fame, Asamoah urged him to make thoughtful decisions, aiming to prevent a return to a state of financial dependence on public assistance. The advice was shared during an interview on Okay FM and she specifically recommended utilizing the gifted car for Uber as a practical solution to avoid further instances of public appeals for support.
