Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo, Alban Bagbin, is asking Ghanaians to vote massively for President John Mahama who he said has competently solved Ghana’s energy crisis.
Describing President Mahama as a competent learder, Mr Bagbin who is seeking a seventh term in Ghana’s Parliament, said the President has in his first term solved a number of problems facing the country.
“His Excellency the president’s competence can be measured by the number of problems he has solved in this country, and the glaring example for us to know is the situation of ‘dumsor’. His Excellency the president has fixed the problem of ‘dumsor’ of this country. Isn’t that competence?” he said.
At a rally to launch his campaign for the seventh-term bid, Mr Bagbin who is the Majority leader in parliament lashed out at the flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who he described as “incompetent”.
He claimed Nana Akufo-Addo’s failure to win two consecutive presidential elections is a clear manifestation of his incompetence
“I want to tell Nana Addo and his running mate that incompetence is when your party makes you leaders for the party and you fail twice to be president and vice president. That is incompetence!” he claimed.
