Music duo, DopeNation, have boldly declared themselves as the last virgins in Ghana, emphasizing their lack of dating experience.
Speaking about relationships on The Delay Show, they shared profound perspectives on love.
“We are not dating; the world is complex, and you experience a lot of stuff. Most people in love happen to be in a situation, and it is all in your head,” they stated.
Continuing, they outlined the distinctions between the joy of being in love, the potential heartbreak, and the rollercoaster of emotions.
The musicians expressed skepticism about love, declaring, “Love is a scam because it is only real when you believe in it. If you don’t believe in it, it’s like a facade.”
When questioned about dating specifically, the duo made a clear differentiation, stating, “No, that is not love; it is a commitment, and being committed to someone is expensive, especially in this part of the world.”
DopeNation underscored the costly nature of commitment and highlighted disparities between the worldviews of men and women.
Openly sharing their thoughts on love, they admitted, “Maybe we’ve not reached the status when we’d fall in love completely.”
As the conversation unfolded, the musical pair revealed a surprising fact: “We are Ghana’s only and last virgins; we’ve never dated before. We’ve not had any sexual encounters.”
