Ghanaian comedian cum actor, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face has opened up about his current life struggles on social media.
In an emotional post, he disclosed that, he’s going through tough times in his life, where the simple question of “what to eat?” has become a monumental challenge.
He shared how he’s lost all his lucrative brand deals and the support of those who once extended a helping hand.
Reflecting on his past, Funny Face blames himself for letting go of genuine friendships and support systems during his rise to fame.
The distance from his daughters due to his financial woes adds another layer of pain to his story.
This poignant confession resonated with fans, sparking an outpouring of concern and hope for the beloved comedian.
Football legend Asamoah Gyan has started raising funds to support Funny Face.
Legendary former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan supported Funny Face with the amount of GHC1,000
This comes after the comedian, in a post via social media, said he has been unable to see his children for the past four years because he is broke.
He shared that due to his past struggles with depression, he has lost connections with several people who used to come to his aid.
Unfortunately, people in the entertainment industry have also spoken negatively about him, causing companies that used to give him work to lose interest in hiring him. This has made it difficult for him to find gigs that will provide for him.
