The late Kwadwo Akwaboah, best known as Akwaboah Snr. a revered figure in the highlife music scene, will be laid to rest.
The schedule includes a wake-keeping ceremony on September 29th, with his body lying in state on September 30th at Trede in Ashanti Region
The main burial service will be held at Heroes Park, Kumasi Sports Stadium, followed by the final resting place in Trede. A Thanksgiving service on October 1st will celebrate his life and contributions.
Akwaboah Jnr, his son, has invited prominent musicians to join in this tribute.
