Award-winning Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has made her first post on social media days after her involvement in a near-fatal accident on the Kwabenya highway on Sunday midnight, September 10, 2023.
According to her, some people will only love you when you are dead but she is alive and thanked God for her safety.
The ‘Survivor’ hitmaker took to her Instagram page to post a snippet of a new song she recorded on September 7, 2023, and the accident occurred on September 10, 2023.
The lyrics of the song encourage people to check up on their friends in times of need and to be there for each other while they’re still alive.
Wendy Shay captioned the video; “I recorded this song on 7.09.2023, had an accident on 10.09.2023. The lyrics in this song is making sense to me now…Some people will only love you when you are dead…I am Alive by the Grace of God.”
She also urged Ghanaians to thank some celebrities who showed her love when she needed it the most.
