The paternal family of Hiplife artiste Reggie Rockstone have denied taking over his father, St. Ossei’s property like he has claimed.
Last week, in an interview with Dr. Ray on KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Reggie Rockstone said he was not in contact with his father’s family in Akwatia in the Eastern Region because they took over the late fashion designer’s property including a diamond concession when he died.
According to him, he got furious when a court case was initiated over the concession by the family and decided never to step foot in the town.
Now, after watching the interview, the family is also hitting back at Rockstone’s allegations.
According to one Kwasi Amoako, Reggie’s claims are false. He said it was not the family but rather Reggie Rockstone who took the case to court.
He revealed that Reggie took over all his father’s companies, which were about 4, and had wanted to take the diamond concession as well but the family disagreed because St. Ossei was their family member.
He said currently the concession had been taken over by government after the Ghana Consolidated Diamond (GCD) company was sold to Zoomlion boss, Joseph Siaw Agyapong who changed the name to Great Consolidated Diamond Ghana Limited (GCDGL).
Kwasi Amoako called on Reggie Rockstone to join hands with the family as a united front to fight for the concession to be handed back to them.
