The Member of Parliament for Akwatia constituency, Hon. Mercy Adu-Gyamfi otherwise known as Ama Sey is still upset about her shocking loss in the NPP primaries and has not failed to express it.
And last Sunday, October 4, she failed to show up as President Akufo-Addo toured her constituency.

President Akufo-Addo, who is currently going round the Eastern Region visited Takorasi and Akwatia as part of his tour but Ama Sey was not seen at the event.
Reports say she is still considering running as an independent candidate.
In his speech Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo, said he had asked Ama Sey about the rumours that she wanted to contest as an independent candidate but the MP denied it.
Meanwhile, a source has revealed to KwasiAboagyeLive that one of Ama Sey’s confidants, who is also an executive of the party, has threatened to kill himself if Ama Sey fails to run as an independent candidate.
