Ama Slay premiered new video on TV and shed tears at 3fm.
As stated by Ama Slay on TV3’s New Day, the days of her childhood were saturated by male artistes. Sitting with Ayisha Yakubu, the debutante premiered her second video, which followed an earlier collaboration with EL and Joey B.
Responding to questions from Ayisha Yakubu, Ama Slay listed the late Ebony as a musician she’d love to collaborate with. The interview on TV wrapped up to usher her into another discussion on 3FM’s Sunrise.
Seemingly overwhelmed by the love at TV3 and post-interview messages on social media, the new act couldn’t hold back her emotions. Ama Slay caused a stared at 3FM’s waiting lounge as she broke into joyful tears, prior to going on air.
The interview was however not deterred by this burst of emotions, as she interacted with hosts and shed more light on herself and her dream. Explaining to the hosts, the reason for her tears, Ama Slay retorted that it was overwhelming seeing her lifelong dreams coming through, a step at a time.
