Hiplife musician Sidney Kofi Ofori popularly known as Barima Sidney has said the comments by entertainment analyst, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo about musicians who visited former MUSIGA President, Obour was below the belt.
About a week ago, some musicians including KiDi and Okyeame Kwame visited Obour after losing in the Asante Akyem South New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.
In a discussion on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” Arnold Asamoah Baidoo noted that it was bogus for the musicians to go and see Obour.
He indicated that those musicians did not support Obour prior to the elections but rather went to visit him after he lost.
Arnold Asamoah Baidoo said he could not fathom why they included the media on their visit to Obour. In his view, those musicians went to make fun of the former MUSIGA president.
However, in an exclusive interview with Dr. Ray on KwasiAboagyeLive.com the ‘Apuskeleke’ hitmaker said it was wrong for Arnold to make such a statement.
According to him, he doesn’t know Arnold that much but believes he did not get the understanding of the issue well.
Sidney revealed that Obour selected some people including him as part of his team when they went to the constituency to launch his campaign and also did a clean-up exercise.
Barima Sidney said he expects Arnold to get his facts right and apologize for his statements.
