Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Barima Sidney has disclosed that he is ready to support the National Democratic Congress (NDC) if only its policies are good.
He made this statement in an exclusive interview with Dr. Ray of KwasiAboagyeLive.com.
According to Barima Sidney, he doesn’t just support parties but rather assesses their policies to see which would really help the people in the country.
He indicated that before throwing his weight behind the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he carefully listened to its policies as well as those of the NDC and found that the NPP’s free SHS policy would help the country.
Barima Sidney added that supporting the NPP in 2016 does mean he will still give the party his vote if their policies in 2020 are not good.
He noted that celebrities should campaign based on policies and not just for parties.
Barima Sidney however said he hasn’t regretted supporting the NPP.
