The nine persons who lost their lives following a deadly stampede at the Asawase Community Center on Thursday dawn have been buried.
The nine, three females and six males, were buried in accordance with Islamic custom on Thursday afternoon.
The nine lost their lives after a music jam organized to crown the Eid ul-Fitr celebrations on Wednesday, July 7.
A survivor told 3news.com that the incident occurred immediately after the show when the lights went out.
Everybody, he recounted, rushed to the main entrance to get out, causing the stampede.
Most of them went out of breath through suffocation, he surmised.
Six of the patrons who were in critical condition are on admission at the Manhyia Government Hospital.
