The confusion in his camp is surely getting to Rufftown Records CEO Bullet and is making him wish for the days when things were calm as he says he misses his star signee, the late Ebony Reigns.
In an emotional post on Instagram, Bullet took Ghanaians down memory lane when he managed Ebony Reigns with a video of him taking on producers at TV3 for refusing to play the “Kupe” artiste’s songs when she went to their studios for an interview.
He wrote under the video which also shows Ebony trying to calm him down: “I will always fight for my artist and my record label any day because we went through hell to get here. Many see the glamour and the glitter so they think is a bed of roses…I miss you my BONY.”
Since last year, two of Rufftown Records’ artists, Wendy Shay and Fantana, have been at each other’s throats for unknown reasons.
Things have gone from bad to worse in the last few days after Fantana called Wendy Shay a local champion in an interview on GHOne TV.
Wendy Shay responded on Twitter saying one does not make hits with big teeth, referencing Fantana. That hit the “Girls Hate On Girls” singer hard and in a rant on Instagram, she made some allegations such as being forced to lie about Wendy Shay introducing her to Bullet.
She also said she wanted nothing to do with Rufftown Records leading to Bullet writing to her requesting a meeting to terminate their contract.
