Legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, has revealed that the mother of musician Theophilus Tagoe known as Castro, is living a poverty-stricken life.
According to him, Castro’s mother has become so poor that she finds it even difficult to get money for food.
In a telephone interview with Onua FM, lawyer Ampaw stated that, “I can tell you she doesn’t have money for food.”
He blamed Castro’s friends for abandoning his mother.
He said: “For six years none of the people who went with Castro has made any attempt to visit Castro’s mum to give her some money.”
He noted that he paid the woman a visit recently to give her some money and noticed that her condition is poor.
“We have neglected Castro, Janet Bandu, and the entire family,” Lawyer Maurice Ampaw lamented.
Six years ago Castro and his female friend Janet Bandu went missing after they went on a weekend trip to Ada with General Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan.
Reports say Castro and Janet took a jet ski to cruise on the Volta Lake but never returned till date.
Many people including lawyer Maurice Ampaw have blamed Asamoah Gyan for Castro’s disappearance and have said he has questions to answer.
