Ghanaian musician, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, well known as D-Black, has revealed why he changed his song composition style.
He recounted how broke he was a time he used to write good rap songs.
This experience compelled him to change his style and according to him, he hasn’t regretted.
“When I was rapping, I was broke. When I was doing my rap stuff I was getting the accolades, BET but I didn’t get money”. D-Black said when asked why he does not do good rap,” he told Abeiku Santana on Atuu aired on UTV.
He added: “I went to the BET with $800 and when I came back I was broke for a very long time. But when I wrote “Vera” and recorded “Vera”
D-Black has been tagged as a lazy musician following his style of music.
