Entertainment journalist Emmanuel Agyemang is actively recruiting 50 volunteers for his ambitious Guinness World Record attempt – the longest individual interview.
The event is slated to take place from March 29 to April 1, 2024, at Bayview Village. Agyemang is specifically looking for individuals willing to serve as witnesses and timekeepers, with a requirement of 2 witnesses and 2 timekeepers every 4 hours throughout the marathon.
For those eager to contribute, Agyemang provided contact details in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Interested volunteers are encouraged to reach out to his team via WhatsApp at 0506044358.
The current record for the longest interview marathon stands at 37 hours, 44 minutes, and 17 seconds, achieved by Rob Oliver.
Emmanuel Agyemang has set an ambitious goal of breaking and setting a new record with an 80-hour non-stop interview marathon, featuring around 250 individuals from diverse fields including politics, creative arts, sports, health, law, and religion.
The entire attempt will be broadcasted live on Step 1 TV, Gh Lifestyle TV, and Newday TV. Notable sponsors for this event include Selfie Studio, Costless Ventures, Bayview Village, and Belas Pub and Restaurant.
