GOIL introduces fuel analysers to check adulteration, dilution

The fuel analyser known as Eraspec, will be specifically used for the fast measurement of important properties of Gasoline and Diesel fuels at the various retail stations nationwide

The use of the state-of-the-art device, according to the company, will address any challenge posed by product adulteration, smuggling and dilution in the downstream petroleum industry.

Mr. Kofi Nyarko, Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager at GOIL said in a statement the fuel analysers would ensure that customers get the finest quality of fuel products.

“Quality is our number one priority and anytime customers buy fuel from our stations, they must be assured that the products have undergone rigorous check”, noted Mr. Nyarko.

Mr. Nyarko was optimistic that the equipment would tremendously enhance speedy resolution of customer complaints on adulteration and contamination of fuel products.

Meanwhile, a resource technician for the manufacturers of the fuel analysing machine, Decoltot Sullivan from France, took GOIL officials and technicians through the use of the analysing machine.

In attendance was GOIl Brand Ambassador Azumah Nelson.
