Groupe Ideal donates to Muslim communities during Ramadan

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Groupe Ideal has presented assorted items to some Muslim communities in Accra to break their fast, IFTAR.

The items including bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes, cartons of milk, cartons of mackerel, and cartons of milo are estimated to cost over GHS20, 000.

Presenting the items on behalf of Groupe Ideal, the Managing Director for Ideal Trade, Emmanuel Buah said “The donation is also to signify how important the period of Ramadan in Islam is to us. We believe you contribute in making our business a success and so this donation is to strengthen our bonds over the years.”

Muslim clerics in Nima and New Town, who received the items on behalf of their communities, lauded the initiative of Groupe Ideal and called on other corporate bodies to emulate.

The Group Head, Corporate Communications and Strategy, Ekow Blankson added that ‘’Groupe Ideal will continue to show its love and support to our Muslim brethren to let them know how important their contribution to our various businesses are to us.

The donations were made at Nima central mosque and the New Town central mosque respectively.
