Madam Cecilia Sekia, the mother of Hiplife musician Okomfo Kwadee has called on Ghanaians to help her seek better treatment for her son who she says is mentally unstable.
Madam Cecilia made the appeal in an interview with radio personality Chikel 1 in Kumasi.
According to her, she has done everything to make her son better but her efforts do not seem to be enough adding that she has lost control and is appealing for support.
She said anytime she wants to take Kwadee for prayers he wouldn’t allow her to and disclosed that the last time she saw her son was about two weeks ago.
She therefore called on anyone willing to help her to step in because Okomfo Kwadee is a national asset.
It is believed that Okomfo Kwadee’s mental health issues stem from excessive drug use.
In his prime, Okomfo Kwadee released hit songs including Ataa Adwoa, Abro ne Bayie, Wotataa Me and Ofie Nipa.
