Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Barima Sidney has laid bare his readiness to work with any political party as the 2020 general elections draw nearer.
The ‘Africa Money’ composer stated that there is no way he will decline to work with any political party that will seek his services.
“In the world of creativity, there is no discrimination or else if people enter barbershops, they would ask if the barber belongs to NPP or NDC before allowing them to trim their hairs so if any party approaches me, so long as I know how to do what they want me to do, I will do it,” he told Dr Cann in an interview on Happy FM.
Despite his affiliation with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2016 elections, Sidney said he hasn’t sworn allegiance to any political party.
He emphasized that he is doing his work as a musician but not a politician.
Barima Sidney explained that he campaigned for the NPP because of the Free Senior High School policy which he saw as something that will help many citizens.
In the same vein, the popular musician asserted he will support any political with good policies that will help the nation.
