Multiple award-winning reggae-dancehall crooner Charles Nii Armah Mensah, famously known as Shatta Wale has shown remorse for his unethical behaviour on the internet these past weeks.
In a post sighted on his Facebook page, ‘On God’ crooner made a seemingly apologetic post citing the fact that he’s human and as such isn’t perfect.
“I have been thru the worst things but I trod on because of my belief in the most high God and that spirit has made me realize the most precious gift we have in this world ..” he added.
Shatta Wale recently lambasted popular media personality Kwasi Aboagye for disputing his claim that he was paid £80,000 for his performance at the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK few weeks ago.
Kwesi Aboagye suggested that the £80,000 figure for Shatta Wale was an exaggeration, which couldn’t sit well with the dancehall performer.
Shatta Wale, while maintaining that he indeed received the stated amount, took to TikTok Live to issue threats against the broadcaster.
At one point, he directed his frustrations towards Kwasi Aboagye’s employers, Fada Dickson and Osei Kwame Despite, saying, “Kwasi Aboagye, if you’re not dismissed from Peace FM… you, Despite, and Fada Dickson are all acting foolish.
Fans think Shatta Wale is using his birthday as an opportunity to right all wrongs done to other industry folks going forward. He’s also set to release his most anticipated ‘Incoming’ record which features Tekno Miles from Nigeria off his ‘Konekt’ album.
