Highlife artist KK Fosu, also known as Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, has publicly expressed his support for Nana Kwame Bediako, aka Cheddar, and the ‘New Force’ Movement. This endorsement follows the release of KK Fosu’s latest song, ‘Back to Sender,’ where he criticizes those opposing Cheddar after a dispute with the government over the cancellation of a planned rally at the Black Stars Square.
In a significant move, KK Fosu removed his sunglasses while declaring his allegiance to the New Force Movement. He emphasized, “I am a New Force Movement member. I want my face to show while saying this clearly,” KK Fosu highlighted the ideological differences between the New Force Movement, which he described as “freedom fighters,” and the traditional political parties, such as the NPP and NDC, driven by personal interests rather than the welfare of the nation.
The song ‘Back to Sender’ serves as KK Fosu’s response to those attempting to undermine the New Force Movement, particularly its leader, Cheddar. He stated, “I am sending fire to any negativity against him, us or anybody who is our enemy.”
Talking about the incident at the Black Stars Square, KK Fosu suggested that authorities might have seen Cheddar as a potential threat, worrying he could overshadow them if given the chance.
