The family of legendary Highlife musician Kofi B has given reasons why the late musician is still in the morgue.
In an interview with Dr. Ray on KwasiAboagyeLive.com, the brother of the late musician Freddie Frimpong revealed why he has not been buried saying it was due to COVID-19 and its attendant restrictions on funerals.
Freddie explained that everything was set for the funeral and burial of his brother before President Akufo-Addo imposed the lockdown.
He stressed that drinks and food to serve people who would have attended the funeral were all ready when the lockdown was announced that same week so it made the family lose some money.
Freddie Frimpong, who is also a Gospel musician indicated that the family was scared to announce another date for the burial since the number of COVID-19 was increasing.
He, however, revealed that Kofi B will be buried before Christmas.
Kofi B died on 2nd February, 2020 in Cape Coast of a heart attack prior to a performance.
