Speaking at the 2024 Young Singles Camp Meeting of the Assemblies of God Church held at AGGAR Retreat and Resort Centre in Shai Hills, Mrs. Mahama delivered a powerful message urging attendees to value this distinct stage of life.
Highlighting the importance of cherishing the journey of singleness, she urged young women to utilize this time to cultivate their aspirations and goals before embarking on the marital path. As a certified counselor, Mrs. Mahama stressed the necessity of enhancing individual capacities through education and vocational training, emphasizing the pursuit of personal growth and fulfillment.
“Singlehood is a time to educate yourself. It is a time to add value to your life whether through formal or or informal education. Work on your beauty, this is your prime time where your beauty must not hidden . Your beauty must radiate and glitter.
“Be self disciplined and accountable to others. Keep your eyes fixed on heaven,” she said.
Furthermore, Mrs. Mahama addressed the myriad challenges young individuals face, including temptations such as substance abuse and promiscuity.
