Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC were held to a goalless drawn game by Algerian side MO Bejaia in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Match Day 2 encounter on Wednesday saw the Ghanaians being wasteful in front of goal.

The Algerians managed to get a point from the Essipon Sports Stadium, taking their tally to four after securing a slim lone goal victory over Tanzania’s Young Africans on Day 1.

Medeama sit third on the log with the point they picked from their first home game in Group A.

African champions TP Mazembe have already opened a two-point lead in the group, having won their first two matches.

In Group B, it is Moroccan side Kawkab Marrakech that is leading the log having won their first two matches.

Medeama will next play Young Africans in Dar es Salam.
