Media personality Nana Yaa Brefo has disclosed that she has lost several relationships because of her job as a journalist.
She made this revelation in a conversation with former colleague Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on Kofi TV on Monday.
“I’ve lost some relationships because of this same work, when you have to call your guests and book them for interviews, you have to be nice to them to secure that interview.
“And being nice to them, your partner may think you have something to do with them; especially when you call the politicians, the way you’ll talk to them to get that interview done, your boyfriend might think you’re going out with that person,” she said.
Nana Yaa Brefo again opened up that her job couldn’t allow her to teach her son about personal hygiene.
She said at a point her son’s teeth became yellow and she had to take him to the dentist for treatment because she was out of the house early every day, making her unable to take him through his daily hygiene routine.
“When I took my son to the boarding house, I personally told his housemaster to ensure that he brushes his teeth every morning because if he doesn’t, his teeth will turn yellow,” she disclosed.
