The Public Relations Officer of Hiplife artiste Okomfo Kwadee has revealed that the musician is suffering from bipolar disorder.
Alfred Frimpong revealed this in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Tuesday monitored by KwasiAboagyeLive.com.
According to him, Okomfo Kwadee has had bipolar disorder from birth and it is triggered by drug use while he has also been off medication used to control the condition for a long time.
Alfred Frimpong said people who don’t know Kwadee might think he’s unstable but it’s the bipolar that is manifesting.
He noted that because of Kwadee’s situation, people want to use his situation to dupe others but he doesn’t need anybody’s help.
Alfred Frimpong stressed that people should not link Kwadee’s situation to drugs because he doesn’t even take alcohol.
This week, Kwadee’s mother came out publicly to ask Ghanaians to help her get better treatment for her son because all her efforts had not worked.
