The one-week memorial service of late lawyer, Cynthia Quarcoo Esq was held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the Christ the King Parish in Accra.
The solemn event was attended by a host of individuals from various walks of life, including close friends, family members, and notable public figures from both the entertainment and legal industries like celebrated Ghanaian musicians Samini and Sarkodie; media personality KOD; political leader Brigitte Dzogbenuku; former CEO of UT Bank Kofi Amoabeng; Charles Mensa and former Electoral Commission boss Charlotte Osei.
The final funeral ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, at same venue, Christ the King Parish in Accra.
Cynthia Quarcoo Esq, widely called Mama C, a renowned legal practitioner, died on June 21, 2023, after battling a long illness.
Lawyer Cynthia owned CQ Legal, a boutique law firm that specializes in entertainment, sports, and media law based in Accra, founded in 2015. She was the founder of Africa 1 Media, a talent management and public relations firm, and also worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.
She was a highly respected lawyer who again represented a number of high-profile clients, including Rocky Dawuni, Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, Samini, Edem, Stephanie Benson and Reggie Rockstone. She was also the legal advisor to the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
