Private one week observation to be held for Bishop Bernard Nyarko

The family of the late Bishop Bernard Nyarko is preparing to hold a private one week observation for the actor.

In an interview with SVTV, the brother of the late actor, Isaac Darko, revealed that the family will organize the one week privately at their residences in Accra and Kumasi.

According to him, the ceremony will take place on May 9 at Lakeside Estates, Ashaley Botwe near the police station in Accra and Pakoso-Asokore Mampong in Kumasi on the same day.

“The family will sit down to observe one week since the departure of our brother. The date is Saturday, May 9 at Lakeside, Ashaley Botwe near the Police Station and Kumasi will be Pakoso – Asokore Mampong.

“We would love for everyone to come, especially Bishop Bernard Nyarko’s fans but because of President Akufo-Addo’s ban on public gatherings, we are forced to do it privately and strictly by invitation.

“We should not break the law, because we are all under the law. We are not preventing anyone from attending the one-week observation but we have to respect the law and the President’s directives,” Mr. Darko said.

Isaac Drako added that the family will communicate the date of the funeral and burial to the public in due time.
