Professor Naana Agyemang tours Akwatia, Kade, Asamankese and Takorase (See Photos)

The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has visited some parts of the Eastern Region as part of her campaign tour.

On Tuesday, October 6, she visited some towns in the region including Asamankese, Kade, Akwatia and Takorase.

She was accompanied by the National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and other party officials.

Speaking at a gathering in Akwatia, Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang listed some of the plans the party has for Ghanaians when voted into power and urged the people of Akwatia to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama in the December 7 elections saying he is capable of driving the country in the right direction.

She also urged people to vote for the parliamentary candidate of the area. Mr. Henry Boakye-Yiadom, popularly known as Okoyo.

Chairman Ofosu Ampofo, who also addressed the people, stated that all the party’s problems in constituency had been resolved.

He went ahead to call some grassroots members of the party who had problems with the parliamentary candidate to join him on stage and thanked them for gracing the occasion.

According to him, he personally came to the constituency some months ago to help solve those problems.

Mr. Boakye-Yiadom also mounted the podium and told his people to take what Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang had said in good faith and vote for the party on election day.
