A regular entertainment pundit on Accra-based local radio station Onua FM, Nana Agyei Boateng, has threatened to kill hip-life musician Castro if he ever returns alive without his rumoured girlfriend, Janet Badu.
Castrol and the lady disappeared in 2014 when they went on a jet-skiing at a beach resort in Ada Foah in the Greater Accra Region during a holiday with Black Stars’ captain Asamoah Gyan and his friends.
Their whereabouts have since remained a mystery. The jet ski which they rode on was discovered by a search team but their bodies have yet to be seen or washed ashore.
While some strongly believe Castro is still alive and has gone into hiding, others suspect the two have been drowned at the estuary of the resort.
Per Section 33 of Ghana’s Evidence Act of 1975, a person can only be declared legally dead by a court after seven years in instances where that person has not been seen or heard from.
But pundit, Chief Executive Officer of Signal Broadcasting Network, Nana Agyei Boateng said on Onua FM’s entertainment show, ‘Anigye3 Mmre’ hosted by Christian Agyei Frimpong that, as far as he is concerned, Castro is dead and that if he ever resurface without Bandu, he will assume Castro to be a ghost and for that, he will kill him.
