Ghanaian musician, Odarky Andy has sung the praises of Dancehall artiste Andrews Samini, simply known as Samini.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Odarky Andy revealed that Samini refused to take money for featuring on his hit song “Sweety”.
Andy, who came second in the first season of TV3 Mentor explained that after the reality show, he wanted to feature Wutah on his song but couldn’t get them.
According to him, the members of Wutah were his mentors and he even performed with them at the grand finale but found it hard to get them on the song because of conflicting schedules.
He explained that the day Wutah Kobby would be available for a studio session, Afriyie won’t be around and vice versa.
He indicated that he planned to record the song alone but Samini came into the studio and after approaching him, he agreed to feature.
Andy said Samini wrote his verse on the song right in the studio.
Andy said he had GH₵ 2,000 on him to give to Wutah but decided to give it to Samini but he rejected the money and told him to use it as transportation back to Kumasi.
He revealed that after that Samini took him to shows to perform on stage with him.
