Minister of Trade and Industry Ekwow Spio-Garbrah on Tuesday, June 7 distributed campaign T-shirts and other paraphernalia to over 30 parliamentary candidates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The gesture initiated by his fan club is to ensure that the parliamentary aspirants win the 2016 elections in their respective constituencies.
“They are sowing a seed which is to tell other Ghanaians in this country and in the Diaspora who want the NDC to stay in power, who want the good works of President Mahama to be continued on balance after you have weighed the good works of the current president with whatever that is being promised you by another party especially a party that has been in power before.
“Which of these two groups really have the interest of this country at heart,” he remarked at the NDC headoffice in Accra.
Among the parliamentary aspirant present were Alhaji Halidu Haruna for Ablekuma Central Constituency, Samuel Kwesi Fletcher for Gomoa West Constituency, Samuel Atta Mills for KEEA Constituency and Dickson Kyere-Duah for Berekum West Constituency.
