Dancehall artist Stonebwoy recently shared profound insights on handling negativity.
Comparing hatred to an inevitable aspect of life, much like the simultaneous existence of love, Stonebwoy proposed that certain individuals express their affection through actions that may initially seem negative.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM, he noted that their involvement, even when expressing hatred, is a distinctive form of connection.
Stonebwoy expressed, “Hate is just like death. It’s a part of life. Hate is part of love. Some people don’t know how to love you, they hate you to love you.”
He stated that understanding this complexity requires rising above normality. While acknowledging the challenges, he highlighted the importance of learning from moments of deviation, ultimately returning to one’s path with increased strength.
“Because they follow you everyday and the first thing that you post, it is them that is watching it. If you hated me that much, don’t even watch it. They love you but that’s how they express it. So, you have to rise above normality to be able to understand how to navigate it.
“Although it’s not easy so sometimes you fall off grid by stooping low, yes of course which you have to because you’ll learn some lessons over there and then now you also speed back up and hold on to where you belong and then keep moving
“We’ve been trying to navigate it well like I said already . Hate is part of love, love is part of hate,” he explained.
