US based Ghanaian pastor killed wife because he was caught engaging in occult activity – elder sister tells story

The elder sister of the late Barbara Ofori, the lady who was murdered in cold blood by her pastor husband has detailed how it all happened.

Elizabeth Sophia in an interview with Kofi Adomah Nwawani on KOFI TV disclosed that the pastor, Sylvester Ofori was caught engaging in occult activities and that led to Barbara seeking divorce.

According to her, her younger sister never cheated on her husband as had been speculated rather, she did not like the way her husband was going about things when he joined the occult.

She indicated that his sermons at church changed and he sometimes preached against the existence of God, something that according to Sophia his junior pastors and pastors at whose churches he preached, spoke against.

Sophia narrated how Sylvester praised some pastors like Obofour, Obinim and other when he came to Ghana some time ago, expressing his eagerness to be like them.

Explaining the viral video about Sylvester’s threats to kill Barbara, Sophia said the incident happened at his house.

He added that Barbara, together with her brother and his wife, went to the house to pick up some documents which belonged to her (Sophia’s) daughter but the pastor prevented them from taking the document which resulted in a small altercation.

Pastor Sylvester Ofori is the founder and leader of Floodgate of Heaven International Ministries in Florida in the United States. He and Barbara were married for five years before things became sour.

Reports say he shot his wife seven times after she snubbed him on her way to work.
