Abeiku Santana recounts how he moved from Adom FM to Okay FM

Popular radio presenter Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey well known as Abeiku Santana, has detailed how his move from the Multimedia Group to Despite Media happened.

In a conversation with Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo on his own show “Ekwanso Dwodwoo” on Okay FM, Abeiku Santana said his move from Adom FM to Despite Media was a vision and a call from God.

Recounting how it all happened, Abeiku revealed that he prayed about it for over six months before the revelation came from God to quit Adom FM.

He indicated that he told God if he had to work at Peace FM, he wouldn’t go because he came to Accra to compete with them but the direction was for him to go.

Abeiku disclosed that he called Fadda Dickson to ask for a job but because he had disappointed Despite Media before, Fadda Dickson and Osei Kwame Despite told him they would not give him any money until he resigned from Adom FM.

The CEO of Kaya Travel and Tours stated that he wrote his resignation letter and gave one to Francis Doku of Graphic Showbiz and sent one to Adom FM then he traveled to China that night.

According to him he didn’t want to rescind his decision so he stopped using his number in order not to be contacted by his former boss, Kwasi Twum.

Abeiku Santana said he started working with Okay FM before negotiating the amount he would take monthly.

Abeiku moved from Adom FM to Okay FM in the year 2010. He is currently celebrating his 10-year stay with the station.
