I have spoken to President Buhari – Nana Akufo-Addo reveals

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has finally reacted to the ongoing police brutality in Nigeria.

Netizens and some celebrities have been calling upon the President to talk about the violent acts going on in Nigeria especially when he is the Chairman of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

In a Facebook post sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Nana Akufo-Addo indicated that he has spoken to President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

According to him, President Buhari has begun the process that will lead to reform.

He added that violence, be it on the part of police or protesters cannot be the solution.

Nana Addo sent his condolences to the families that have lost their loved ones and wished injured protestors speedy recovery.

His post read: “I join all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogue in resolving #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria. I have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to this end, and has begun the processes that will lead to reform. Violence be it on the part of police or protesters, cannot be the solution. To the families who have lost their loved ones, I express my sincere condolences, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery”.
