I will not campaign for NPP after I was treated unfairly – Mama Kali

Kumawood actress Ama Boahemaa popularly known as Mama Kali, has revealed that she has stopped campaigning for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mama Kali was part of the Agenda 57 group which campaigned for the NPP in the 2016 general elections.

The actress has complained bitterly about how leaders of the group cheated her after they received an amount of GH¢ 310,000 from the NPP.

According to her, the leaders gave her only GH¢ 2,000 out of the amount they received and because of this, the actress has promised not to campaign for the NPP in this year’s elections.

She indicated that she does not have any problem with the party but cannot continue to work with those people after they treated her unfairly.

Mama Kali recalled how she left home for many days, abandoning her children and grandchildren, just to campaign.

She failed to disclose the party she would vote for but said she will take part in the voting process on December 7.
