Parents of the late actor, Bishop Bernard Nyarko have spoken for the first time since the demise of their son.
The aggrieved parents shared how saddened the family is, because of their son’s death.
In an interview with Kofi TV monitored by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Bishop Bernard Nyarko’s mother said she was not behind her son’s death.
“How can I kill my son? I loved him from the day I gave birth to him, if I’d wanted to kill him I would’ve done that when I gave birth to him.
“I’ve heard the likes of Big Akwes, Oboy Santo and others accusing me of killing my son but I don’t have anything to tell them, I leave everything to God,” she said.
She recounted the struggles, suffering and the money she spent when she was trying to save her son’s life.
She spoke about how a certain man of God in the Northern Region demanded to take a cow and provisions from her yet her son couldn’t survive even after she had provided those items.
Bishop Nyarko’s father who’s a former police officer disclosed that his son hid his sickness from them and he did not let them know about it when it started.
According to him, when he saw that Bernard Nyarko had lost weight, he asked him but his son said he was doing lots of fasting and he even advised him to stop because it was deforming him.
The father said if Bernard Nyarko had told them about his sickness, the family would have gotten into action to save his life.
The family has settled on 27th June to bury Bishop Bernard Nyarko.
