Radio Personality, Priscilla Sarpong aka Chickel 1, the lady whose recent picture with musician Okomfo Kwadee sparked worry, has spoken about how she met him and the current state he is in.
Chikel 1’s photo showed Kwadee had lost a lot of weight and he looked disheveled, which got many people expressing concern.
In an exclusive interview with Kwasi Aboagye on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review on Saturday monitored by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Chickel 1 disclosed that she met Okomfo Kwadee at Santase in Kumasi.
According to her, Kwadee used to walk by her mom’s house so she decided to approach him one day.
Before that, she said she had suggested that her mom have a chat with Kwadee’s mother on how to help him out.
She said her mom helped her to get in touch with Kwadee’s mother as they all sell foodstuffs at the same market.
She explained that after getting in touch with the woman, she met Kwadee again around her mom’s house and told him she wanted to interview him on radio.
After their conversation she took the picture with him.
According to her she had to pay GHS10 to Kwadee before he agreed to take the picture.
She asserted that she had no bad intentions and didn’t want to make people ridicule Kwadee so she had taken the photo off her Facebook page after she was insulted.
