Renowned gospel artist Nacee, also known as Nana Osei, has recently revealed that he crafted a new campaign song for former President John Mahama and the NDC.
In an interview with Onua TV, Nacee confirmed that the song is recorded and awaiting release, pending the National Democratic Congress’s decision.
During the interview with Nana Adwoa Annan, Nacee shared insights into his involvement in this year’s general election and specifically mentioned composing a song for Mahama.
“Oh, I have composed a song for Mahama… It is done… the NDC will release the song very soon.”
While campaign songs themselves don’t guarantee election victories, they hold a vital role in shaping the political environment and effectively communicating party messages.
Nacee has a track record of producing well-received NDC campaign songs like “E dey bee,” “Onaapo,” and “Okada.”
Given Nacee’s reputation for creating hit songs and his past collaborations with former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Ghanaians are eagerly anticipating the release of this new campaign song, building on the success of his previous contributions to political music.
