Jessica Ani, the girl who gained attention for dancing with Omah Lay on stage, publicly apologized to her boyfriend.
In a video on her TikTok page, Jess disclosed that she had discussed the prospect of going on stage with her boyfriend, and he was supportive.
“We’ve had private conversations of going on stage with Omah Lay because he does this at his shows. If you know Omah Lay, you’ll know that he’s done this in his past, at his past concerts. This is what he does, it’s nothing new.
“Me and him had this conversation. I said to him ‘if I was to get called on stage, I’m going to go on stage and he said that’s fine . He’s been saying that’s fine. Me and him never ever had an issue with me going on stage,”she explicitly stated.
Addressing the public apology, Jess explained it was prompted by the widespread attention and hate comments. Dismissing rumors, she asserted, “I’m the one that bought the tickets,” .” Jess went on to provide details about her private conversation with her boyfriend, emphasizing their agreement on her going on stage.
Setting the record straight about her identity, Jess stated that she is Jess and not ‘Fafa’. She expressed being a huge Omah Lay fan but acknowledged that going on stage was a mistake. If she had anticipated the situation escalating this much, she wouldn’t have attended the concert, deeming the received hate unwarranted.
