Jess, the girl who gained viral attention for dancing with Omah Lay on stage, clarified in a TikTok video that she personally bought the concert tickets, dispelling rumors about her boyfriend’s involvement. She shared insights into her private conversations with her boyfriend, explaining they had discussed the possibility of her being called on stage.
In the video, Jess said, “I wanna publicly apologize to him. Obviously, me and him, we’ve had private conversations, we spoke. But since it was public, I think the right thing for me to do is to publicly apologize to him. That was bad. It was honestly a mistake. If I knew this would get this far, I won’t even go to the concert because this is not worth the hate that I’m receiving.”
She also addressed the misconception about her name, stating that she is not ‘Fafa’ like people are insinuating but rather Jess.
Touching on the tickets, she said,” And also people saying that he’s the one that bought the tickets, who told you that as well? Who said he’s the one that bought the tickets? It was me. I’m the one that bought the tickets.”
Furthermore, Jess clarified their agreement about going on stage, narrating, “Me and him, We’ve had private conversations of going on stage with Omah Lay because he does this at his shows. This is what he does, it’s nothing new. Me and him had this conversation. I said to him ‘if I was to get called on stage, I’m going to go on stage’ and he said that’s fine. He’s been saying that’s fine. Me and him never ever had an issue with me going on stage.”
