Legal Practitioner Nana Serwah Godson-Amamoo of AB & David Africa Passes Away in Dubai

Renowned private legal practitioner Nana Serwah Godson-Amamoo, of the prestigious law firm AB & David Africa, has tragically passed away in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

According to reports from Asaaseradio, she died shortly after participating in a training session for an upcoming scuba diving expedition. Godson-Amamoo reportedly expressed feeling uneasy just five minutes into her preparations for the dive. Despite efforts, she collapsed after the session and subsequently passed away.

Although the exact time of her death remains unclear, Nana Serwah Amaniapong, an alumna of Archbishop Porter Girls, mourned her on Facebook on March 29.

Nana Serwah, a partner in AB & David Africa’s Natural Resources and Extractive Industries Practice Group, boasted over 19 years of experience in energy and extractive industries. She was known for representing clients in natural resources, energy, mining, and related matters, providing expertise in acquisitions, negotiation support, project development, and local content issues.

Additionally, she led the firm’s Government Business and Regulation Practice Group, advising on public sector organizational reform and policy development across Africa. Her contributions extended to assisting governments with industry legislation and capacity building initiatives.
