The Lagos State Police Command arrested musician Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, on Tuesday for failing to pay the full amount for a G-Wagon he acquired from a local car dealer. Portable paid N13 million of the N27 million cost but refused to pay the remaining N14 million.
According to PUNCH Online, Portable claimed the vehicle was defective whenever the dealer contacted him about the balance. After numerous failed attempts to resolve the issue, the dealer reported the matter to the police, who then arrested Portable.
State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest, stating, “Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought a G-Wagon for N27 million, paid N13 million, and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.”

Veteran actress Janet Ackom has revealed details about her past relationship with the late veteran actor Asonaba Kwaku Darko, popularly known as Super OD.

Known affectionately as Mama Jane, Ackom recounted a troubling incident from their first date.
