Founder of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, popularly known as ‘angel Obinim,’ was arrested yesterday, May 19th and charged with several offences.
Last week, there were reports that Bishop Obinim had fallen ill and admitted to the hospital after police showed up at his church premises to arrest him.
Although one of his junior pastors called Pastor Adu came out to rubbish the reports, saying there was no truth in them, KwasiAboagyeLive.com can confirm that Bishop Obinim was finally arrested by the police yesterday.
A statement signed by the head of Public Affairs/CID, Deputy Superintendent Ms. Juliana Obeng, confirmed that he was arrested on court warrant with different charges against him.
One of the charges is that Obinim published false news and forged some documents.
We can also confirm that he has been released on GH¢100,00 bail with three sureties. He is expected to reappear before court on June 1, 2020.
