Gospel artiste, Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong has rubbished reports that he has said the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has neglected him.
Speaking on Akoma FM’s Entertainment 360 show, Great Ampong said he had not made any such claims anywhere.
“I read the story too but didn’t bother to react because one of Ghana’s former Presidents has advised me not respond to any story I hear about me if I know it isn’t true and that’s why I have kept quiet,” he said.
The “Akokofunu” hitmaker explained that, “I remember I granted an interview to one blogger and [he] just twisted the story and even brought my children into the conversation when they weren’t part of it.”
Great Ampong used the opportunity to talk about his new song “Coronavirus,” aimed at educating people about the deadly disease.
The song advises Ghanaians to use sanitizers and also to pray to God who is the ‘Nyametizer’ because the pandemic can only be eradicated by God.
