Kontihene swore to destroy Kwabena Kwabena and make him beg for food – Manager

The manager of Ghanaian Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena, has revealed that Hiplife artiste Kontihene swore to destroy his artiste.

According to the man, Sena, in 2016, Kontihene asked Kwabena Kwabena to do a song for him but the ‘Aso’ singer refused to do it and that has been the cause of Kontihene’s hatred for Kwabena.

Sena sent this message to Kwasi Aboagye during Thursday’s edition of Entertainment Review on Peace FM.

He added that Kontihene told a confidante of his that he would make Kwabena Kwabena beg for food after destroying him.

According to him, Kwabena Kwabena and his team at KBKB records have not had peace after Kontihene made that statement.

Sena used the opportunity to debunk accusations by Kontihene that Kwabena Kwabena has kids with his cousin.

He indicated that Kwabena kwabena has 3 biological children and not 6 as Kontihene claims.

For some time now Kontihene and Kwabena Kwabena have been at each other’s throats after the latter accused the former of doing drugs and children with his cousin.

Kwabena Kwabena has threatened to sue Kontihene for making those defamatory statements.

Music producer Ephraim says Bullet and Akhan of Ruff n Smooth are greedy

Ghanaian producer, Ephraim has expressed his anger at Bullet and Akhan of Ruff and Smooth fame for failing to settle a debt they owe him.

In a social media post sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Ephraim disclosed that Bullet and Akhan are greedy artistes and he is ready to go into the gutters with them.

According to him, he produced a song for Ruff n Smooth featuring a top Liberian artiste called Deng, and they released the song without paying him.

He stressed that he had chased them for his money but they had failed to pay him.

To add salt to injury, Ephraim revealed that the two artistes sold the song to be used in a Hollywood movie in 2015 and they did not inform him nor give him his share of the money.

He has therefore warned them to sit up because he won’t fold his arms and let it go.

Ephraim wrote on Facebook: “Now this is why I sometimes say some Ghanaian Musician’s are greedy ? Now I produced this song for ruff and smooth ft a top notch artiste from Liberian called deng .. after releasing the song to the artistes “ruff and smooth” for listening, they released the song without paying me a dime … I chased them for my money but to no avail .. fast forward == they sold the song to be used in a Hollywood movie in the year 2015 without my consent.. @rufftownrecordsgh @ahkanofficial u people shld sit up Kos we go dirty wanna body ruff … greedy artistes ..”

Sarkodie and I are actors – Shatta Wale says as he wishes rapper happy birthday

Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has said that he and rapper Michael Owusu Addo, affectionately called Sarkodie, are actors.

Shatta Wale said this in a telephone conversation with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Friday.

On the show, Andy Dosty initially spoke to Sarkodie, who is celebrating his birthday today, to wish him a happy birthday.

In the middle of the conversation he called Shatta Wale to join in and wish his colleague a happy birthday too.

Sarkodie then asked Shatta Wale to bring him his birthday gift but said he would not be allowed to enter the house because he fears Shatta Wale had contracted coronavirus.

He then told him to throw the gift over his gate into the house.

During the funny conversation, Andy Dosty asked Shatta Wale why some fans think they are at loggerheads and he answered that he and Sarkodie were actors.

Shatta Wale indicated that Sarkodie is his brother and that they talked privately every day.

He wished Sarkodie a happy birthday and said he would be playing his songs today to celebrate him.

Ghanaian Afro pop musician Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi has proven that he is multi talented and can do other things aside music.

In a new video sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, the musician is seen giving rapper Okyeame Kwame a haircut.

KiDi was heard saying in the video that he has skills in barbering, photography and selling tomatoes as well when asked what he would have done if he was not a musician.

The “Say You Love Me” singer disclosed that before fame, he was a barber for most celebrities in the country including members of Hip Hop group La Meme Gang.

Broadcast journalist Godsbrain Smart aka Captain Smart today went feminine as he wore ‘Kaba’ and ‘Slit’ to host his morning show “Anopa Bofour” on Angel FM.

Since the station’s rebranding with new programs, staff have decided to do themed dress codes every Friday and they have been getting some attention.

Some weeks ago, they wore school uniforms to work and became the talk of social media.

This week, they decided to do a gender switch, with the men dressing like women and the women dressings like men.

To make his female look more convincing, Captain Smart also put on a wig.

Reports available to KwasiAboagyeLive.com indicate that fire has gutted the offices of Asante Akyem Agogo-based Salt FM.

Reports say the radio station was razed down by fire in the wee hours of Thursday, July 9, 2020.

The management of the radio station has issued a statement confirming the outbreak.

The management headed by CEO, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, said the incident was a terrible shock to them and the employees.

They indicated that they had no idea how the fire outbreak happened.

It has been confirmed that there were no casualties.

The management expressed their gratitude to all well wishers and asked their loyal listeners to expect a thorough investigation.

Salt FM was launched in January this year.

The occasion was graced by great personalities such as Bola Ray, Abeiku Santana, Obour and sound engineer Fred Kyei Mensah.

The station is owned by business mogul Ohene Kwame Frimpong, who also owns Salt TV and other businesses in Agogo.

Recently he was in the news for suing Rev Obofour over GHc190,000 debt.

Television show host/actress Nana Ama McBrown was wowed when she met World War II (WWII) veteran, Private Joseph Ashitey Hammond.

A humbled Nana Ama McBrown met Mr Hammond at the just ended EMY Africa Awards last Saturday.

McBrown, who was captivated, exchanged some pleasantries with the 95-year-old.

In a video sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, the host of United Showbiz on UTV told the man she was honored to meet him and he told her the same.

McBrown almost ‘fainted’ when the man told her she was beautiful.

With smiles, the actress ushered the man into his seat and they talked for some few seconds.

They then did the COVID-19 greetings (elbow to elbow) after which McBrown humbly opted to leave.

Following the outbreak of coronavirus, Mr Hammond recently walked about 14 miles for a week to raise funds to support the vulnerable.

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has said that relationship expert, Counselor George Lutterodt, is a rapist and must be arrested.

She made the statement following some comments Counselor Lutterodt made on a show on Adom TV.

According to him, people who are raped not only feel the pain but enjoy the act.

Reacting to the statement, Juliet Ibrahim said Counselor Lutterodt is fueling rape culture and sexual violence.

She added that through him words, he had sent a direct message to the general public that it is okay to rape.

Her colleague, Ama K Abebrese, who commented on the post said Counselor George Lutterodt’s statement is highly irresponsible and a very dangerous rhetoric.

Ghanaian rapper prays to God to let Nana Addo lose 2020 elections

Ghanaian female rapper Jada Sparkles has asked God to let Nana Akufo-Addo lose the upcoming general elections so that she can become a Christian.

Jada Sparkles, who praised Nana Akufo-Addo about four months ago made this statement in a post sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com.

In her previous post, the rapper eulogized President Akufo-Addo and promised to vote for him for giving Ghanaians free water and a 50 per cent rebate on electricity for three months to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.

Jada Sparkles wrote: “Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo I love u saaaaaa!!! Cos of your address tonight I go vote for u!!!! #4MoreforNana.”

However, four months after the above post, the “Bossu” composer has turned around to pray to God to make Nana Akufo-Addo lose the 2020 general elections.

She added that she will start worshipping God if He listens to her plea.

Meanwhile Jada Sparkles did not detail why she is wishing for Nana Addo and NPP to lose the election.

Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that society pressured her to get married and have children when she was not married.

In an exclusive interview on the Dentaa Show, the host of United Showbiz on UTV disclosed that her family was not worried about her not getting married but friends and fans were.

According to Nana Ama, her mother was okay with her not having a child of her own even though she was in her 40s but outsiders rather mounted pressure on her.

She explained that the pressure came because of her popularity and she also believed that people cared about her even though they went about it in a harsh manner.

She added that the people wanted to see how she would behave as a mother and how her child was going to look like.

Nana Ama McBrown stated that the pressure from society is becoming too much because people grow up knowing what they want.

“I am growing everyday and I know what I want,” she stated.

Chief Justice goes into 14-days self isolation

Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah has gone into self isolation upon advice from doctors after coming into close contact with a person who has COVID-19.

His lordship is expected to go into 14-days isolation in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols.

Yesterday it emerged that some judges had tested positive for COVID-19 with an Appeal Court judge, Justice Paul Gyaesayor passing on.

Some judges have already been asked to self-isolate.

According to a statement by Judicial Secretary Cynthia Pamela Addo, during the period of the isolation, the Chief Justice will be working from his residence at Cantonments in Accra.

Ghana Education Service interdicts KNUST SHS headmistress

The headmistress of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Senior High School (KNUST SHS) in Kumasi, Madam Felicia Asamoah Dankwaa has been indicted by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The interdiction comes after a final year student reportedly died on Tuesday 7th July, 2020 after lack of medical attention when he was sick.

Reports say the school authorities failed to attend to the student because they thought he was showing symptoms of COVID-19.

According to a statement signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of Public Relations at the Ghana Education Service, Madam Felicia Asamoah Dankwaa has been directed to step aside for the Regional Director of Education to take over.

The statement added that the GES is investigating the circumstances that led to the death of the student.

He asserted that even though Adebayor advised him to stop posting, he still went ahead to post stuff on social media which might have infuriated the Togolese footballer to unfollow him.
