Popular music producer, Hammer of ‘The Last Two’ has defended highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena saying he doesn’t do drugs.
Hiplife musician Kontihene has claimed Kwabena Kwabena is a drug addict but in an interview with MzGee on 3FM, Hammer said drug addicts are not focused unlike Kwabena Kwabena.
“Drug addicts speak for themselves. If you are a drug addict, nobody needs to tell somebody that you are a drug addict. It will show. Drug addicts are not focused, they don’t do albums, and they go months without bathing. Just look at him. He is focused.
“I worked with him for a long time, he was the main voice behind most of my hits. I know him and can tell you for a fact that he is not a drug addict,” he stated.
According to Hammer, the beef between Kontihene and Kwabena Kwabena might be the reason why he is making such allegations.
He disclosed why he doesn’t take side when people he knows are fighting each other.
“When people fall out, they say nasty things about each other.
“At a point in time, they were very great friends. I have a policy. When people fight, I don’t take sides because when they get together, they will alienate you.
“I believe they have too much history not to get back together. They are just angry with each other for whatever reason, I do not know. Taking part in the noise makes you a third person.”
Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t taken Kontihene’s allegations lightly threatening to sue him for tarnishing his reputation.
The Appeal Court has finally given its verdict in the case between ex-Black Stars player, Nii Odartey Lamptey and his ex-wife Gloria Appiah.

Rev.George Lutterodt
I have received a few accusations and bashing from some people with regards to George Lutterodt. I personally stopped him from coming on my show and studio 4 years ago. Yes, he’s been on The Standpoint before. On two occasions.
November 2013 and February 2016. His last appearance was on 19th February 2016.
I find it interesting and quiet unfortunate, that I am being accused of endorsing his behavior because he’s been on The Standpoint before, irrespective of what he talked about on the show. But then again, if in the programme’s 12 years of existence our ‘biggest crime’ committed, was letting him come on the show, 4 years ago….
I Totally apologize …
And I keep using ‘I’ because I take full responsibility as the executive producer and Host.
