Ghanaian actor and farmer, John Setor Dumelo, the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, has been spotted in Assin North, campaigning for the party.
Dumelo, whose possible re-election as Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon has been delayed, posted a video of himself campaigning in Assin Kushea on Twitter.
In the video, he is seen riding a motorbike and shouting the NDC’s campaign slogan, “3y3 Zu.” Some of his supporters, who are not seen in the video, can be heard responding, “3y3 Za.”

The actor cum Politician’s presence in Assin North is a sign of the NDC’s commitment to winning the by-election. The party is hoping to capitalize on Dumelo’s popularity in the region to help them secure victory.
